Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton (1643 - 1727) is often considered the father of physics. He is famous for his work on calculus, optics, gravity, and the laws of motion. He was an English polymath active as a mathematician, physicist, astronomer, alchemist, theologian, and author who was described in his time as a natural philosopher.
